Job Segments:

· Employs all aquatic staff within approved budget guidelines; reviews performance and effectiveness of personnel; administers appropriate salary increases.

· Provides for training programs for all aquatic staff. Carries primary responsibility for staff development within budget guidelines. Ensures all employed staff obtain required certifications necessary stipulated by PA State and LrC aquatic standards.

· Directs and delegates to aquatic personnel work to ensure successful completion of job responsibilities and departmental objectives.

· Supervise all AQ staff.

· Develop, monitor, and administer the aquatic department budget. Takes corrective action when necessary to maintain fiscal integrity.

· Responsible for maintaining broad based and relevant programs via evaluation, an understanding of the community and needs analysis. Responsible for new program development and new initiatives to enhance aquatic programming.

· Reviews and evaluates the enrollment, program, and services of the aquatic department, and takes corrective action when needed to meet departmental goals.

· Keeps records essential for control, evaluation, and conduct of programs. Prepares reports as requested.

· Develops and organizes special events to heighten awareness of aquatic programs and events.

· Works cooperatively with the Building/Facility Director to ensure pool chemistry is achieved, and appropriate records are maintained regarding water tests.

· Responsible for the general cleanliness of pool facilities and safe conduct of participants in the swimming pool areas.

· Coordinates Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid programs for internal staff, members and the community.

· Work with other LrC programs that offer aquatic programming, i.e.: Child Care, Youth and Adult programs to ensure standardization of aquatic safety.

· Interpret and communicate aquatic programs/services to members, program participants, the general public, and kindred community organizations. Works closely with Member Services and Communications Director to accomplish this responsibility.

· Work cooperatively as a team member and staff colleague with other LrC personnel in the accomplishment of departmental and LrC goals.

· Provide an environment where the LrC values and integrity can be taught.

· Act as a role model in your dealing with others, especially children at the LrC.

· Perform other duties as designated by supervisor in support of LrC goals and the mission.

Membership Team


Building Monitor
Join the LrC team and help keep our recCenter safe, welcoming, and running smoothly. Our Building Safety Monitor role is active, people‑focused, and works closely with all departments to support daily operations.
In this position, you will greet and assist members and guests, respond to emergencies by providing First Aid/CPR (we will supply training), and help prepare the facility for closing so it’s ready for the next day. You will also conduct tours for potential new members and offer hands‑on support as needed throughout the building.
We’re seeking a professional, calm, and customer‑focused individual with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Part-Time Customer Service Representative

The Lititz recCenter is seeking a customer service representative who wants to make a positive first impression on our members and guests. Duties include but are not limited to providing a welcoming greeting to patrons, providing facility tours, registering participants for programs and collecting fees, and processing memberships. Our front desk is a high-paced, detail-oriented, multi-tasking hub requiring teamwork and flexibility.

Candidates with previous customer service experience are preferred, including phone/computer use, database access. Customer service staff will manage information in our membership and program software system daily.

Nights and weekends are required, and some mornings may also be required.

Group Supervisors & Assistant Group Supervisors 

Lititz recKids – Now Hiring Group Supervisors & Assistant Group Supervisors
Part-Time | Starting at $14.00/hr (based on experience). 

Join the Lititz recKids team to support the growth, safety, and development of children in grades K–6 in our before and after school care programs. We’re seeking Group Supervisors (GS) and Assistant Group Supervisors (AGS) for the 2025–2026 school year. 

Locations: 
  • Lititz recCenter 
  • Warwick Elementary Schools 

 

Schedule: 
  • Part-time: 15–30 hours/week 
  • Monday–Friday 
  • Flexible shifts: 6:30–8:00 AM and/or 2:00–6:00 PM 
  • Late August – Early June 

 

Group Supervisor Responsibilities: 
  • Lead and engage children (grades K–6) in structured activities 
  • Supervise and schedule staff 
  • Communicate with families and follow PA DHS regulations 
  • Ensure safety, support social/emotional development 
  • Indoor/outdoor supervision, behavioral guidance, progress monitoring 

 

Requirements: 
  • Associate’s degree (or higher) in Early Childhood, Elementary Ed., or related field

KidZone Babysitting Staff

Part-time morning, evening, Sat shifts available

Seeking candidates ages 16+ to provide direct care for children ages infant to age 10 in a group babysitting area at Lititz recCenter.  Supervise and engage in play and activities, monitor interactions, ensure safety of children.  Observe all rules and guidelines for safe and age-appropriate activity.

Lifeguards

Responsible for ensuring the safety of facility patrons by monitoring, preventing and responding to emergencies. Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations. Responsible for planning, coordinating and conducting successful swim lessons. Ability to adapt teaching approaches to the age, experience and ability of participants so they can meet course objectives. Certified Personal Trainers
