Continuing the Legacy of Lititz Recreation Center

77 years of community recreation facilities and programs is the culmination of the vision of local Lititz businessman, Ralph M. Spacht.  In anticipation of the homecoming of service men and women after World War II, Mr. Spacht envisioned a gathering place for young people to dance, play games, and spend their free time.  He donated a warehouse in the center of town for this purpose and could not have predicted that the Lititz community would embrace the Lititz Recreation Center and continue to grow and invest in community recreation for the Warwick region.

Community members have an opportunity to be part of the ongoing growth and reinvestment in a thriving Lititz recCenter into the future.  The Lititz recCenter Legacy League is a group of donors who choose to support the endowment program at Lititz recCenter.
