Summer Playground Program

FREE to our Community!

Warwick Regional Recreation Commission (WRRC) and Lititz recCenter, along with support from our community youth sports programs, provide free supervised activities at our local community playgrounds each summer.  Join us!

  • Kids ages 5-12 in the community
  • Meet at playground sites (5 in summer 2023) 9:30 am – Noon
  • No cost to attend
  • Lititz recCenter Staff supervise activity (CPR/First Aid Certified with background clearances)
  • Fun, games, art, crafts, snacks, and more!

Sign your child up to attend any location – only need to sign up once!  Emergency contact info is needed for each child.

We are hiring Summer Playground Staff!  

Morning weekday hours only (or additional shifts available in other departments!), ages 18+, experience working with or supervising kids, patience, caring, positive attitude and a desire to be active and have fun with groups of children in the great outdoors!

Training/orientation late May 2022, program begins Jun 13 and ends Aug 4 

Playground Programs run June 12 – August 4

NO PLAYGROUND PROGRAM on rainy or stormy days!  

NO PLAYGROUND PROGRAM Mon July 4

  • Wear comfortable outdoor clothes and closed toe shoes suitable for walking, climbing, running, etc.
  • Bring a water bottle.
  • Wear sunscreen each day.
  • Sign your child in and out of Playground Programs each day.
  • Be sure to have emergency contact information correctly listed for your child!

  • Meet at the Lititz Methodist Church Pavilion (Market St.)

Spruce Street Park (Lititz Borough)

  • 9:30 am – Noon
  • Tues/Thurs

 

Lititz Springs Park (Lititz Borough)

  • Meet at the Boy Scout Pavilion (top of hill near Warwick High School)
  • 9:30 am – Noon
  • Mon, Wed, Fri

 

Mummau Park (Manheim Borough)

  • Meet at the pavilion
  • 9:30 am – Noon
  • Mon, Wed, Fri

 

Lions Park (Rothsville – Warwick Township)

  • Meet at the pavilion near the skating rink
  • 9:30 am – Noon
  • Tues/Thurs
